I've been wanting a pair of cowgirl boots for a while but I didn't want to buy shoes I could only wear with one outfit. So this is just me playing around with different outfits to justify buying more shoes. Granted living in Texas means I could wear cowgirl boots with any outfit and no one would bat an eye I had to do this to convince myself.
 
I may come back later and toy with some accessories for a complete look, probably right before the rodeo.

Just playing around with the idea of mixing brown and black, a combination I rarely use. I like the dress the most but I feel that the tunic set is off some how. I'll most likely edit it later but for now this is what I could come up with.

Just a casual day to day outfit inspired by Tolkien's description of the Mirkwood elves. While he didn't go into much detail about what the elves looked like in The Hobbit he mentioned that they wore mainly Earth tones like green and brown. I believe he also mentioned Thranduil was fond of silver tone metals and clear colored stones so a clear pair of earrings would keep up the spirit of the outfit and maybe a plain leather cuff. I also see complex braids being a big part of the outfit to, with the hair style being just as important as any of the accessories.
 
This one was a little difficult as I never saw the wood elves as being flashy or overly decorated so it comes off as a little plain. Like all the stuff on my polyvore this is based off an outfit I frequently wear and while it looks cute in person it is very underwhelming here. Oh well, watcha gonna do?
